Are you ready to “Laugh for No Reason”? 

Join folks from around the country for this FREE Laughter Yoga class from UCSF. Remember, you don’t have to be in a good mood to join!  Please feel free to invite your friends and family.

Dates: March 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27 @ 6 p.m. Pacific.

Note: Due to security issues you need to register for each session. The meeting will be locked at 6:15 p.m. (Pacific)

Amy’s healthcare career spanned over forty-seven years starting at the University of Chicago hospital and clinics and retired in 2014 from University of California – San Francisco.  As a certified Chopra Yoga Instructor Amy has been known to infuse her presentations with ChairYoga which people need now more than ever while working remotely. Her three-minute video’s are widely viewed –  1 minute of breath, 1 minute of stretch, and 1 minute of laughter. She encourages everyone to give themselves the gift of three minutes a day before they give the rest of their day away.

LSB (Laughter, Stretch, Breathe) is a relaxing thirty minute session where the participants are invited to sit comfortably in their chair and:
  • Enjoy a variety of deep breathing techniques as they activate their para-sympathetic nervous system.
  • Practice gentle stretches that increase the mobility of their spine, hands, shoulders, neck and hips.
  • Participate in some silly laughing exercises that increase their endorphins.
Participants will leave refreshed, centered, and flexible. The only rule is – IF DOESN’T FEEL GOOD DON’T DO IT.
