Amy is an accomplished speaker who regularly presents to prestigious US medical centers such as, NYU, University of Chicago, University of Michigan and UCLA. She tells her audiences, “I kill people I didn’t like at work and use their organs for transplant – why waste the kill?”

As Director of Clinical Operations at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Amy oversaw a team that successfully completed over 600 transplants annually. She learned early on in her medical career that humor was an important survival skill and studied improvisation at the world premier school, Second City, in Chicago.

    Testimonials

“I really enjoyed this webinar. I thought that Amy Peele was a great speaker and enjoyed learning about her books and background.”
“Great to hear all the work that goes into the accuracy of the book. Reading her books will help me to understand the world of transplant.”
“Great to get someone like this to meet with us.”
“Peele does a great job presenting about her book and how her stories relate to the real-world process of transplantation. Our staff always enjoys her humor, insight, and creativity.”
Megan Podschlne, Project Manager at the University of Michigan Transplant Center
Best part – hearing her discuss how she weaves transplant and current events into a murder mystery. We appreciated her sharing her process and the great detail she puts into her novels.  As a transplant team, it was nice to hear her reflections on working in transplant and the importance of finding things outside of work to decrease stress.
