Book Pleasures Review
…The narrative triumphs as both a mystery and a reminder that the pharmaceutical industry, one of the largest and wealthiest industries, can be culpable of unethical clinical trials. Sometimes, data is falsified. Protocol is thrown out the window, and researchers manipulate their findings. As a result, the results are distorted. When identified, it may be too late to remedy the damage caused to patients who have been harmed and robbed of quality healthcare…

The US Review of Books
Dramatic, accessible, and suspenseful, this book holds the thrills and medical insight of a Robin Cook novel and the mystique of Michael Crichton’s best. Obviously well-researched, the narrative gives readers an insight into the complications, dangers, and legalities of the medical transplant industry. Simultaneously, the book’s thrilling plot takes readers coast to coast from Miami to San Francisco on a whirlwind crime-thriller adventure. Because chapters alternate character points of view, just when readers anticipate one outcome, a completely different one emerges. Characters like Biker Bob intrigue readers because of their unique personas, while Sarah Golden becomes a lighthouse for humanity. Fast-paced and intelligent, this page-turner is sure to become a quick favorite for fans of medical mysteries and medical thrillers.

Intriguing, Entertaining and Educational All Rolled Into One
I’m not much for who-done-it books or cop/hospital TV shows because of the gory images that stay planted in my head. So, how refreshing to have storyteller Amy Peele create a riveting, entertaining mystery that involves both hospitals and cops that I could safely read before bedtime! Brava! What’s more, I learned a lot about the world of organ donation and transplant in an easily digestible way. Can’t wait to pass it along to friends and get the first of the series, Cut, to get some backstory on BFFs Sarah and Jackie.

Praise for CUT
CUT goes to the Hamptoms
I’m honored that Cut was selected to be part of an amazing program – Bedside Reading beginning July 14, 2019. In addition to that, it will be the featured Book of the Weekend. I’ve never been to the Hamptons but I’m so grateful that my book is going to be meeting all these new readers. Bedside Reading is the #1 platform in the world that pairs luxury hotels with up-and-coming books. Their unique program places books into the hands of influential readers and provides hotels with the opportunity to promote and recommend books to generate buzz, awareness, and opportunities for speakers.
Goodreads Review of CUT
Extremely adventurous! This book was filled with great characters and a wonderful plot. … a definite page-turner, and it brought the reader on a journey of intrigue and mystery, as Jackie and Sarah are in the middle of corrupt organ transplants. It’s a dangerous and wild journey for these two nurses, and I thoroughly enjoyed it … I look forward to reading more stories.
Book Traveller Review
This was the first mystery novel I have read involving medicine and organ transplant. I’m really glad I got to have this first experience with Cut by Amy Peele. This serves as a reminder that we should always try new things!

Books of All Kinds Review
When I was asked to review this medical mystery novel I instantly agreed as it is such an intriguing topic which I know so little about, and I wondered how the story would play out. And boy am I glad I did because CUT by Amy S. Peele is an expertly researched, well-paced novel with plenty of twists and witty dialogue along the way to keep the reader’s attention throughout…
San Francisco Book Review
Book Passage in Marin County’s Corte Madera was the site for Amy S. Peele’s comic and compassionate introduction of her debut novel, Cut, to a crowd of nearly one hundred people last month. Standing-room-only is rare at any book launch, but Peele’s was marked by eager cheers, a rousing introduction by author Betsy Graziani Fasbinder, hilarious readings, and a crash course in the mysterious world of human organ transplantation.
Books From Dusk Till Dawn Review
This is the first book in a planned trilogy of ‘medical murder mysteries with a mission’ and if this one is anything to go by it is going to be a cracking series. It has been written with passion on a subject that is close to the author’s heart.
Chanticleer Book Reviews
With heart, compassion, and a dash of comic relief, Amy Peele’s engaging murder mystery takes us into the precarious realm of human organ transplantation. Here, as life-saving procedures become marred by money, social status, and criminal intent, a moral compass spins out of control, revealing just how far some will go to reach the top of the donor procurement platform.
